Our Back to School Pomsky pups (Zia x Brax) are now 8 weeks old and ready for their next adventures! These pups all received a perfect vet health report and were absolute stars! Guess which pup was the vet tech’s favourite? I’ll give you a hint: it’s the pup with the tail that’s always wagging if you’ve followed our older posts
These pups will start heading out this weekend to meet their new families and will be traveling all over Canada: to Quebec, Newfoundland, British Columbia and two will stay in Ontario. Athena will be meeting her new paw soon – they share the same birthday (Athena was the only pup of the litter to be born on September 7), and her paw actually suggested her name when we were picking our theme. How is that for fate!?
We cannot wait to receive lots of pupdates from their new pawrents.
Final weigh-ins:

Ayasha x Brax F3 Fall Litter turned 3 weeks old yesterday! They are starting to toddle around more, play, growl and bark. So adorable! Who’s your favourite smooshable face?

Creed and Tiva went to our vet to undergo their OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) testing for hips, elbows and patella (Tiva had to skip one of the three tests… any guesses why…? Stay tuned!). While the OFA continues to focus on hip dysplasia, today’s OFA Mission is, “To improve the health and well-being of companion animals through a reduction in the incidence of genetic disease”. These tests are usually done around 2 years of age and are required for AKC purebred dogs, but not yet required for Pomskies. Nonetheless, to continue to strive to make the healthiest pups, we have elected to have our dogs evaluated under the OFA guidelines. Our vet said both dogs looked great, but Creed’s x-rays were some of the nicest she’s seen all day… and she’s a renowned OFA testing expert! Creed is the best!!!
We just reached our 100th member of our Wait List! We are so incredibly touched by the support we receive for our breeding program and we look forward to continue matching these super amazing pups with super amazing families!
Thank you for joining our pack!
