A longer winter… but as we bunker down for a polar vortex, the groundhogs aren’t the only ones seeing a ray of sunshine today!

Akela, our newest 16-pound wolfy grey girl, has been confirmed pregnant! Our vet was able to see at least 3 pups but due to her lovely tone, she could have more that we just couldn’t locate yet.

We will confirm via x-ray in around 1 month from now how many pups we’ll hopefully be welcoming as our first litter of 2023! These pups are due around March 11-12.

Due to some winter weather, we dual-sired this litter with both Creed (14 pounds) and Brax (16 pounds), so the pups could be from either sire – how exciting!
